The Personalization team at Walmart is dedicated to enhancing customer experience
through tailored recommendations and seamless shopping journeys. As a Data Scientist
III, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge machine
learning solutions that personalize the shopping experience for millions of customers
worldwide.

Job Responsibilities:

➢ Apply statistical modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms to develop
scalable models.
➢ Collaborate with business, engineering, and science teams to solve complex
problems and drive impactful solutions.
➢ Define model goodness metrics and track business impact over time.
➢ Present complex analysis findings to business partners in clear and actionable
formats.

➢ Strong expertise in statistical modeling, optimization methods, and machine
learning.
➢ Ability to integrate data science solutions into business processes and recommend
process standards.
➢ Consultation skills to advise business stakeholders on algorithm-based

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science,
    Information Technology, or related field with 2 years’ experience in analytics.
    OR
  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science,
    Information Technology, or related field.
    OR
  • 4 years’ experience in analytics or related field.
