About the Role:

As the Stewarding Manager at Andaz Scottsdale, you will oversee the stewarding
operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the food and beverage areas. You
will manage a team of stewards, coordinate with other departments, and maintain Hyatt’s
quality and hygiene standards. This role is essential for ensuring that guests receive
exceptional service in a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the stewarding department.
  • Ensure compliance with Hyatt’s health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate with food and beverage teams to support efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and maintain equipment to support operations.
  • Train and mentor stewarding staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Prepare reports on departmental performance and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure that all cleaning and maintenance procedures are followed consistently.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in stewarding or a similar role in a hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications; familiarity with industry software is a plus.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of service and hygiene.
