About the Role:
As the Stewarding Manager at Andaz Scottsdale, you will oversee the stewarding
operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the food and beverage areas. You
will manage a team of stewards, coordinate with other departments, and maintain Hyatt’s
quality and hygiene standards. This role is essential for ensuring that guests receive
exceptional service in a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the stewarding department.
- Ensure compliance with Hyatt’s health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with food and beverage teams to support efficient service delivery.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and maintain equipment to support operations.
- Train and mentor stewarding staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Prepare reports on departmental performance and implement improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that all cleaning and maintenance procedures are followed consistently.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in stewarding or a similar role in a hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications; familiarity with industry software is a plus.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of service and hygiene.
