About the Role:
As the Marketing and Communication Manager at Hyatt Regency Kochi, you will be
responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International’s
Corporate Strategies and brand standards. Your role focuses on developing,
implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the hotel’s marketing communications
strategy—including advertising, promotions, public relations, graphics, and collateral—to
support the marketing objectives and maximize the hotel’s exposure in local, national, and
international markets. You will need a deep understanding of the digital landscape, strong
creativity, and exceptional communication skills to drive measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the marketing communications department to
meet Hyatt’s corporate strategies and brand standards. - Develop, implement, and monitor the hotel’s marketing communications strategy to
enhance its positive exposure across various markets. - Manage advertising, promotions, public relations, and production of marketing collateral.
- Lead and influence in complex project environments, working with both short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Provide strategic leadership by setting high-level targets, managing P&L budgets, and
ensuring effective communication across teams. - Generate new ideas to improve processes or products and prepare implementation plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure marketing initiatives align with business goals.
Qualifications:
- A postgraduate degree in Business Management with a specialization in Marketing is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role at an upscale/luxury resort in India or South East Asia.
- Proven track record in marketing and communications with success stories in the hospitality sector.
- Deep understanding of the digital landscape with the ability to deliver measurable business value.
- Excellent problem-solving, writing, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead through influence.
- Experience in public relations and managing complex projects.
- Must have a passion for creativity and detail-oriented execution
