About the Role:
As the Manager, Distribution, you will be an integral part of the Revenue team at
One&Only Royal Mirage Resort. Your primary responsibility is to lead the implementation
of distribution channels that drive successful resort operations. You will set up and
maintain systems for ancillaries, manage OTA content and strategies, and provide
comprehensive training to sales and front office teams on revenue management
principles. Your role involves monitoring rate parity, managing distribution systems, and
collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure optimal performance across all
channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain ancillaries-related systems and ensure all partner tracking information is up to date.
- Manage OTA content and implement strategies based on reporting insights.
- Train sales and front office teams on revenue management principles and their respective roles.
- Keep training materials updated and provide a training platform for an expanded audience.
- Offer guidance and support on revenue management processes and procedures across the organization.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance revenue awareness and understanding.
- Manage distribution systems to identify and address business risks.
- Optimize distribution channels and maintain rate parity across all platforms using advanced tools.
- Build and manage databases for CRS, GDS, PMS, and OTAs, ensuring high data quality through regular audits.
- Collaborate with third-party partners to develop and execute revenue strategies.
- Oversee the daily operations of distribution channels, setting targets, and ensuring timely implementation of tasks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role within revenue or distribution functions.
- Solid knowledge of Central Reservation Systems, interfaces, onward distribution
platforms, and OTA extranets; experience with SynXis and OPERA Cloud is a plus. - Highly skilled in data analysis with above-average Excel proficiency; business analytics
experience is advantageous. - Strong problem-solving, decision-making, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, and Front Desk teams.
- Proven track record in the Revenue and Distribution field with experience managing
multiple properties is preferred. - Experience in a Middle East/GCC environment is an advantage.
