About the Role:

As an SMGR/MGR Administration Manager for the Kharkhoda Plant at Maruti Suzuki
India Limited, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various
administrative functions, including facility management, HR administration, and
statutory compliance.
Reporting to the DPM ADM-K, your role is vital for ensuring smooth day-to-day
operations at the plant. You will coordinate services such as canteen, transport,
housekeeping, and overall facility maintenance while also handling budget
preparation, vendor management, and compliance with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility & Operations Management:
o Oversee the management of canteen, transport, housekeeping, and
facilities/sanitation.
o Supervise external agencies for facilities management, including
electrical, HVAC, horticulture, STP/WTP/DG/Lifts, parking, and
gate/visitor management.
Budget & Expense Management:
o Prepare budgets for departmental expenditures and monitor expenses.
o Check bills on a daily basis and arrange timely payments.
Compliance & Process Management:
o Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
o Track and close escalated issues, report deviations, and maintain smooth
operations.
Administrative Coordination:
o Handle general administrative tasks including logistics, office supplies
inventory, and courier services.
o Oversee office premises maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.
Reporting & Documentation:
o Prepare and maintain reports on operational performance and policy
compliance.
o Coordinate with various Maruti Suzuki locations for streamlined
administrative operations.
Support & Collaboration:
o Assist in organizing office activities and support daily operations
through efficient administrative procedures.

Requirements:

Experience:
o 8 – 12 years of experience in facility management, HR administration,
and statutory compliance, preferably in an automotive or large industrial
environment.
Educational Qualifications:
o A postgraduate degree (MBA/MSW) is preferred; a graduate degree (B.
Tech with specialization) is also acceptable.
Technical/Functional Skills:
o Strong knowledge of administrative management and facility
operations.
o Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems
(e.g., SAP) is advantageous.
o Experience in vendor negotiations, procurement processes, and
maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.
Behavioural Skills:
o Excellent logical thinking, written and verbal communication skills.
o Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
o Familiarity with compliance under the Shops and Establishment Act.
