About the Role:

As an EV Components Test Engineer at Hero MotoCorp Ltd., you will play a critical role in
validating the quality and performance of our electric vehicle drivetrain components.
Your work will involve defining test requirements, executing functional tests, performing
detailed failure analyses in collaboration with the design team, and preparing
comprehensive test reports.
Additionally, you will manage test lab environments and operate specialized test
equipment to ensure that all EV components meet the required industry standards and
regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Requirement Definition:
o Define and develop test requirements for EV drivetrain high-voltage
components.
Testing & Validation:
o Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of functional requirements
for electric vehicles.
Failure Analysis:
o Perform failure analysis in collaboration with the design team and prepare
final reports outlining countermeasures.
Test Lab Management:
o Oversee the management of test labs and ensure that test equipment is
properly maintained and calibrated.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
o Utilize MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project) to analyze test data and
prepare detailed reports.
Continuous Improvement:
o Work proactively to improve testing processes and methodologies,
ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:
o B. E / B. Tech in Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Electrical
& Electronics, or Mechatronics.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in using CAN tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, and CANape.
o Hands-on experience in managing test labs and operating various test
instruments.
o Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel,
Word, and Project.

o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Excellent project planning and execution abilities under pressure.
o A team player with a winning attitude who is eager to learn and take on new
