About the Role:

Our company is looking for a full-time scriptwriter working on a one-per-week basis to
write scripts approximately 15–25 minutes long for a faceless documentary-style
YouTube channel. The channel, currently with 750K+ subscribers, is undergoing a
rebrand and will restart after a hiatus of over a year. We boast a history of generating
nearly 100M views on YouTube with long-form documentary content and have grown
channels to 500K+ subscribers within just a few months. Think content akin to Jake Tran,
Moon, ColdFusion, and similar channels.

Key Responsibilities:

→ Scriptwriting:
o Write long-form scripts (15–25 minutes) on a weekly basis tailored for a
faceless documentary-style YouTube channel.
→ Content Development:
o Develop engaging narratives that simplify complex topics while keeping
viewers hooked throughout the video.
→ Collaboration & Guidance:
o Work based on our provided outlines and requirements to ensure your
scripts align with our content strategy.
→ Reference Integration:
o Consistently attach accurate references (e.g., links to source articles or
imagery) within the scripts to assist editors in incorporating relevant
visuals.
→ Timely Delivery:
o Maintain a turnaround time of within one week per script.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in scriptwriting for documentary-style or educational
    YouTube channels, with a history of generating 1M+ views regularly on your
    scripts.
  • Deep understanding of scriptwriting psychology to craft engaging content
    that holds the viewer’s attention.
  • Ability to work independently based on detailed outlines and provided
    guidelines.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to accurately source and attach
    references for each script.
  • Comfortable with a turnaround time of one week while maintaining high
    quality output.
