About the Role:

As a Computer Scientist 1 on the Adobe Guides team, you’ll drive the full software
development lifecycle—from requirements and architecture through coding, testing, and
release—building next-generation features for a document-processing platform. You’ll
solve complex problems in a Windows environment using Node.js and Java, delivering
high-quality, performance-optimized, multi-platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

→ Product Development: Conceptualize, design, and implement new features;
maintain and enhance existing functionality.
→ Full-Stack Engineering: Write clean, reliable, and secure code in Node.js and
Java, optimizing for performance and scalability.
→ Testing & Quality: Develop and execute unit tests; perform risk analysis and code
reviews to ensure robustness.
→ Troubleshooting: Provide rapid fixes and workarounds; diagnose and resolve
issues across the application stack.
→ Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, testers, and operations
teams to deliver on roadmap milestones.

Technical Skills / Knowledge:

→ Programming: Proficient in JavaScript (Node.js) and Java; solid data structures
and algorithms.
→ Architecture: Strong computer science fundamentals; experience with object
oriented design and software lifecycle management.
→ Platform Expertise: Familiarity with Windows programming (Win32/MFC) and OS
internals.
→ Performance & Security: Ability to write performance-optimized, secure, and
maintainable code.
→ Problem Solving: Independent, hands-on developer who can architect solutions
and troubleshoot complex issues.

Requirements:

→ B. Tech or M. Tech in Computer Science from a reputed institute.
→ 4–7 years of professional software development experience.
→ Demonstrated ability to take features through the full development lifecycle.
→ Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
→ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
