About the Role:
🖥️ As a Trainee Associate – NOC in the AI & Engineering team, you will monitor business‑critical IT applications and infrastructure, coordinate incidents, and support automation initiatives across hybrid cloud environments.You will help deliver 24/7/365 operational support, working closely with DevOps, operations, product teams, and vendors to detect, escalate, and resolve incidents while improving service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 👀 Perform “eyes on glass” 24/7 monitoring using tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Azure Monitor, SolarWinds, Datadog, and Nagios; configure alerts, dashboards, and baselines.
  • 🚨 Act as Incident Coordinator: join/drive major incident bridges, triage tickets per SOP, escalate to L1/L2 teams, support RCA and PIRs, and maintain knowledge base/known error DB.
  • 🤖 Identify recurring issues and propose/enable automation and “shift‑left” remediation using scripts and tools; track KPIs like MTTD/MTTR, tickets handled, and incidents avoided.
  • 📢 Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party vendors, contribute to SOPs, CMDB/SLAs awareness, and generate operational reports/metrics.

Requirements:

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 🧑‍💻 0–6 months in IT operations, NOC/SOC, incident management, or application support in a 24/7 environment.
  • 📊 Proficiency with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, Azure Monitor, SolarWinds, Datadog, Nagios) and ITSM platforms like ServiceNow/Jira; familiarity with alert configuration and dashboards.
  • 🧩 Exposure to ITIL processes; ITIL Foundation certification preferred; experience documenting/following SOPs and contributing to knowledge bases.
  • 📝 Strong communication skills for stakeholder updates, bridge calls, and incident reporting; comfort working in rotational/night shifts and weekends from ODC/client locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 🎓 BSc IT / BCA or related non‑engineering degree (or equivalent experience).
  • ☁ Exposure to on‑prem datacenters and cloud/hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, GCP); familiarity with CMDB and SLAs.
  • 🐚 Scripting exposure (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and ability to develop/maintain automation scripts.
