About the Role:
Mastercard is hiring a Senior Accountant to join its Global Business Services Center (GBSC). In this role, you will handle complex accounting operations, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes. You’ll work closely with global teams, support month-end closing, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This is a great opportunity for finance professionals who want exposure to global accounting systems and high-impact work.

Key Responsibilities:
📌 Perform complex accounting activities including financial reporting and reconciliations
📌 Manage month-end close processes and journal entries
📌 Review contracts, rebates, and incentive payments for accuracy
📌 Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
📌 Support internal and external audits
📌 Analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
📌 Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
📌 Collaborate with global finance and business teams

Requirements:
🎯 5–10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
🎯 Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and reporting
🎯 Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems
🎯 Good understanding of Record-to-Report (RTR) processes
🎯 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
🎯 Experience working in global or shared service environments
🎯 Ability to handle complex financial issues independently
🎯 Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
