Nokia is hiring a Software QA Engineer to work on next-gen optical networking systems 💻.
You will design and implement test strategies, automation frameworks, and ensure high-quality releases for DWDM, OTN, and networking protocols 📡
📌Key Responsibilities:
📌 Develop and execute test plans for DWDM and OTN systems 📊
📌 Perform manual and automated testing across networking layers 🔍
📌 Design scalable automation frameworks using Python ⚙️
📌 Test NBI interfaces like NETCONF, RESTCONF, gRPC 🔗
📌 Collaborate with cross-functional teams for faster releases 🤝
📌 Drive continuous testing and CI/CD practices 🚀
📌 Ensure system security and reliability standards 🔐
🎯Requirements:
🎯 3+ years experience in optical networking system testing 📡
🎯 Strong knowledge of DWDM, OTN, Ethernet, GMPLS 🌐
🎯 Proficiency in Python or similar programming language 🐍
🎯 Experience with automation frameworks and test tools ⚙️
🎯 Hands-on with NETCONF, RESTCONF, CLI, gRPC 🔗
🎯 Strong debugging and problem-solving skills 🧠
🌟Preferred Skills:
⭐ Knowledge of L2/L3 networking concepts 🌍
⭐ Experience with microservices & containerization 🐳
⭐ Familiarity with tools like Jira, Git, Confluence 🛠️
