💡About the Role:
KLA is hiring Software Engineers 👨💻 for its ICOS Vision Systems division in Chennai.This role focuses on building scalable automation frameworks, testing advanced semiconductor inspection systems, automating web UI and API workflows, and ensuring high-quality software delivery for mission-critical manufacturing solutions 🌟Candidates will work on cutting-edge technologies including Playwright automation, AI-assisted testing, web services validation, automation pipelines, and end-to-end quality engineering 🚀

📌Key Responsibilities:
📌 Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright ⚙️
📌 Automate web UI, backend services, and API testing workflows 🌐
📌 Build smoke, regression, and end-to-end automation test suites 🧪
📌 Participate in SDLC reviews to improve testability and quality 📋
📌 Create reusable automation utilities and stable testing patterns 🔧
📌 Perform service-level functional and contract validation testing 📡
📌 Execute and monitor automated test pipelines and dashboards 📊
📌 Analyze failures and improve automation stability 🔍
📌 Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams 🤝

🎯Requirements:
🎯 0–2 years of software engineering or automation testing experience 👨💻
🎯 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant technical field 🎓
🎯 Understanding of software quality assurance and testing concepts 🧪
🎯 Knowledge of programming languages like C/C++, Python, Perl, or VBScript 💻
🎯 Familiarity with automation frameworks and web UI testing ⚙️
🎯 Experience with Linux commands and databases like MySQL or Oracle 🐧
🎯 Good communication and teamwork skills 💬
