🚨About the Role:
Datavail is hiring Trainee SQL Database Administrators for its Mumbai office.This opportunity is ideal for freshers and early-career professionals who want to build a career in Database Administration, SQL Server Management, Cloud Technologies, and Data Engineering.You will work with experienced MSSQL and Cloud DBAs while supporting enterprise-scale database environments across on-premises, AWS, and Azure platforms. The role provides exposure to real-world database monitoring, troubleshooting, backup management, cloud administration, and AI-powered database technologies.

📌Key Responsibilities:
📌 Monitor SQL Server production and non-production environments 🖥️

📌 Provide L1 database administration support using ServiceNow and monitoring tools 🎫

📌 Monitor database alerts, incidents, and service requests 🔔

📌 Perform backup and restore activities for on-premises and cloud databases 💾

📌 Support SQL Server maintenance jobs and scheduled tasks ⚙️

📌 Assist in database performance monitoring and optimization 📊

📌 Work with AWS and Azure cloud database platforms ☁️

📌 Handle SQL Jobs, database health checks, and server monitoring 🔍

📌 Support High Availability and Disaster Recovery environments 🔄

📌 Ensure compliance with IT standards, security, and governance requirements 🔒

📌 Collaborate with global database administration teams 🌎

🎯Requirements:
🎯 0–2 Years of Experience 👨‍💻

🎯 Knowledge of MSSQL Database Administration 🗄️

🎯 Understanding of T-SQL (DDL, DML, TCL, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions) 💻

🎯 Basic knowledge of Azure or AWS Cloud Platforms ☁️

🎯 Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, SQL Sentry, or similar monitoring tools 🎫

🎯 Understanding of SQL Server versions and database architecture 🏗️

🎯 Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts 🔄

🎯 Basic understanding of Windows Server environments 🖥️

🎯 Good communication and troubleshooting skills 💬

🎯 Ability to work in a 24×7 support environment 🌙
