💡About the Role:
Velodata Global Private Limited is hiring a Lead I – Software Testing professional for an enterprise ecommerce testing engagement in Thiruvananthapuram.You will lead testing strategy and quality initiatives for ATG / Oracle Commerce applications while building and maintaining Java-based automation frameworks.The role requires deep experience in API testing across REST and GraphQL services, with hands-on exposure to tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, Pact, and WireMock.You will test business-critical ecommerce workflows including catalog management, pricing, promotions, cart functionality, checkout flows, and order management systems.This is a high-impact opportunity for experienced QA engineers and SDETs who want to move beyond executing test cases and become a key contributor to product reliability, release quality, and engineering excellence.

📌Key Responsibilities:
📌 Lead test strategy and execution for ATG / Oracle Commerce applications 🛒

📌 Design, develop, and maintain Java-based automation frameworks ⚙️

📌 Perform API testing for RESTful and GraphQL services 🔗

📌 Build automated API validation using Rest Assured and Java ☕

📌 Use Postman for API testing, request validation, and service debugging 📬

📌 Implement contract testing using Pact 🤝

📌 Create service mocks and virtualization using WireMock 🔄

📌 Test integrations between ATG, downstream services, and third-party APIs 🌐

📌 Validate ecommerce flows including catalog, pricing, promotions, cart, checkout, and order management 🛍️

📌 Review requirements and identify edge cases, test risks, and failure scenarios early in the SDLC 🔍

📌 Drive defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives 📈

📌 Collaborate with developers, architects, business teams, and product owners 🤝

📌 Mentor junior test engineers and provide technical leadership 👥

📌 Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement practices 🚀

🎯Requirements:
🎯 7–12 Years of Software Testing and Automation Experience 👨‍💻

🎯 Strong Java programming skills ☕

🎯 Hands-on experience testing ATG / Oracle Commerce applications 🛒

🎯 Extensive experience in REST API Testing 🔗
