💡About the Role:
Cisco is hiring a Data Science Analyst for its AutoQuote engineering team.This role offers an exciting opportunity to build AI-powered software solutions, cloud-native data pipelines, and intelligent automation systems that support Cisco’s global renewals business. You’ll work with modern technologies including Python, GCP, Kubernetes, Prefect, REST APIs, and Generative AI while collaborating with world-class engineers.
📌Key Responsibilities:
📌 Design and develop scalable software features and backend services ⚙️
📌 Build and maintain cloud-native data pipelines using Prefect and GCP ☁️
📌 Develop REST API integrations across distributed microservices 🔗
📌 Write clean, well-tested Python code following CI/CD practices 🐍
📌 Use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and coding assistants to accelerate development 🤖
📌 Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews 🏗️
📌 Troubleshoot production issues and improve platform reliability 🔍
📌 Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance 🤝
🎯Requirements:
🎯 Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 🎓
🎯 3–5 years of Software Engineering experience 💼
🎯 Strong programming skills in Python 🐍
🎯 Experience with GCP or AWS cloud platforms ☁️
🎯 Knowledge of Prefect, Airflow, or workflow orchestration tools 🔄
🎯 Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices architecture 🐳
🎯 Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile development 🚀
🎯 Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills 💡
