Ford is hiring a Senior Power BI Developer for its Chennai office to strengthen its enterprise analytics platform.This role involves designing scalable Power BI solutions, optimizing Google BigQuery workloads, building advanced semantic models, and delivering interactive dashboards that empower business stakeholders with real-time, data-driven insights.You’ll collaborate with business leaders, data engineers, and analytics teams to build modern reporting solutions while establishing enterprise BI best practices.
📌 Key Responsibilities:
📌 Design and maintain enterprise Power BI semantic models 📊
📌 Develop interactive dashboards and executive reports 📈
📌 Build advanced DAX calculations and Power Query (M) transformations ⚙️
📌 Design Star Schema and Snowflake data models 🗄️
📌 Optimize Google BigQuery performance, partitioning, and cost efficiency ☁️
📌 Administer Power BI workspaces, datasets, gateways, and refresh schedules 🔄
📌 Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and governance policies 🔐
📌 Gather business requirements and deliver scalable BI solutions 🤝
📌 Train and support business users on self-service analytics 👨🏫
📌 Ensure reporting consistency, data quality, and enterprise standards ✅
🎯 Requirements:
🎯 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, or related field 🎓
🎯 4+ years of Business Intelligence or Analytics development experience 💼
🎯 Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Report Builder 📊
🎯 Advanced DAX and Power Query (M) skills ⚙️
🎯 Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery ☁️
🎯 Strong SQL development and query optimization skills 🗄️
🎯 Knowledge of dimensional modelling, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema 📈
