Virtusa is hiring an experienced Python Lead to support Core Banking modernization initiatives. The role focuses on building scalable Python applications, enterprise automation frameworks, cloud-native services, data migration solutions, and AI-powered automation while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.Candidates will work on enterprise-scale banking platforms involving Python, Kafka, Cloud Technologies, Data Engineering, REST APIs, and Generative AI solutions.

📌 Key Responsibilities:
📌 Design and develop enterprise-grade Python applications and automation frameworks ⚙️
📌 Build scalable data ingestion, transformation, and migration solutions 📊
📌 Develop REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask 🌐
📌 Implement Kafka producers and consumers for event-driven systems 🔄
📌 Build automation for reconciliation, validation, monitoring, and operational support 🤖
📌 Integrate Python applications with Oracle, DB2, Cloud, and enterprise messaging platforms ☁️
📌 Collaborate with Java, Mainframe, DevOps, and Data Engineering teams 🤝
📌 Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability 🚀
📌 Mentor developers and establish engineering best practices 👨‍🏫
📌 Support production deployments and continuous improvements 🔧
📌 Prototype AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for enterprise automation 🧠

🎯 Requirements:
🎯 Strong expertise in Python development 🐍
