Twilio is looking for a Senior Application Engineer, Zuora Billing to architect and operate sophisticated billing solutions while working closely with Finance, Accounting, Revenue and global technology teams.

💡About the Role:
As a Senior Application Engineer – Zuora Billing, you will join Twilio’s Enterprise Application Development and Operations team.

The role focuses on designing, configuring, developing and supporting Zuora Billing across subscription management, product and pricing configuration, payments, Accounts Receivable, revenue and accounting processes.

You will also work on enterprise integrations, system implementations, production support and process automation while helping guide junior team members. 🚀

📌Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture and complex product catalog design within Zuora Billing.
• Design scalable Order-to-Cash (O2C) and related revenue solutions.
• Configure charge models, subscription lifecycles, billing rules and pricing structures.
• Build advanced Zuora workflows, automation, integrations and data transformation pipelines.
• Design integrations with Oracle ERP, Salesforce, tax engines, payment gateways and enterprise data platforms.
• Develop API-based integrations and automated reconciliation processes.
• Support multi-entity and multi-currency global billing environments.
• Manage P1/P2 incidents, root-cause analysis, releases and production stability.
• Support financial close, reconciliations and compliance activities.
• Lead requirements workshops, system implementations and post-go-live hypercare.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide technical leadership.
• Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and innovation. 🔧

🎯Requirements:

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Zuora Subscriptions, Billing, Product and Pricing Management.
• Experience integrating Zuora with Salesforce, Oracle ERP, banks, payment gateways and Avalara.
• Expertise in Zuora objects, custom events and Zuora Workflows.
• Experience with system conversions and enterprise implementations.
• Good understanding of customer aging, AR-to-GL reconciliation and month-end processes.
• Knowledge of change management and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• B.Tech or MBA qualification.
