Expected Salary: ₹ 5 – 8 Lakh Per Annum
Experience: 3 – 5 Years

Job Responsibilities:

  • RM source development for new & existing models, monitoring.
  • Localize new steel grades for upcoming models.
  • Coordinating with internal customers, vendors, and steel mills to resolve issues.
  • Facilitate smooth new & existing model trials through effective coordination.
  • Conduction formability trials of in-house press parts for alternate source
    development.
  • Coordination with Steel Mills, SC team, and Shop for resolving the steel-related
    defects.
  • Initiating various cost-saving activities through yield improvement, reuse of RM, etc.
  • Development of special-grade steels like HSS, UHSS, BH, GA grades, etc.
  • Design, development, and CAE for pallets for storage of in-house press parts.
  • Ensuring the supply of pallets as per the New Model Schedule.
  • Planning and executing the shifting of models (press facility) between plants as per
    the guidelines.

Functional Competencies:

  • Understand technical and commercial requirements of various raw material (steel)
    grades.
  • Effectively communicate specific requirements with buying departments,
    engineering, press shop, and QA teams.
  • Sound knowledge of Press shop Equipment’s, steel-making process & its defects.
  • Formalize raw material negotiation strategies.
  • Analyze cost impacts and implement remedial measures in the PE.
  • Demonstrate a strong execution orientation and a problem-solving approach.
  • Have hands-on experience in MS Office and MS Projects.

Qualification:

BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering/Metallurgy, Post-Graduate
Diploma in Manufacturing/Material Science
