About the Role:

As a Senior Manager in Travel and Card Services, you will oversee and optimize the
company’s travel-related expenditures, ensuring cost-efficient travel arrangements and
service delivery for travel and corporate card operations. Your role involves developing
effective procurement strategies, negotiating with vendors, and enhancing the overall
travel experience for employees while maintaining financial efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Vendor Management: Identify and build relationships with travel service providers,
    negotiate contracts, and secure favourable terms and pricing for corporate travel.
  2. Cost Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize travel-related costs without
    compromising service quality, analysing travel data for cost-saving opportunities.
  3. Policy Development: Establish and enforce travel policies to ensure compliance with
    company standards and educate employees on travel procedures.
  4. Technology Integration: Stay updated on travel industry technology trends, implement
    relevant tools to streamline procurement, and collaborate with IT teams for system
    integration.
  5. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate travel-related risks, develop contingency plans
    for unexpected events affecting travel arrangements.
  6. Employee Support: Provide guidance and support to employees in managing travel
    arrangements, promptly addressing travel and card-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, or related field.
  • 15 years of experience in travel procurement or similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Familiarity with travel management systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset for data interpretation and informed decision-making
