Role Overview:

As a Teacher Librarian, you will oversee the daily operations of the library, manage
resources, and promote independent learning among students. Your responsibilities
will include cataloguing resources, delivering library induction programs, and
supporting literacy development across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage library resources
• Deliver library induction programs for staff and students
• Support literacy development initiatives
• Manage the library budget and resources effectively
• Contribute to curriculum development and planning
• Supervise library assistants and pupils
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in an international school environment
• Master’s level program in library and information studies preferred
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and library databases
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Passion for children’s literature and promoting reading
