About the Role:
Mastercard is hiring an Accountant to join its Global Business Service Center (GBSC). In this role, you will support settlement accounting processes, manage financial operations, and work closely with global teams. This position is ideal for experienced finance professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and want to contribute to global financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:
📌 Manage settlement accounting processes for global transactions
📌 Perform daily financial accounting and reporting activities
📌 Collaborate with global teams across regions and departments
📌 Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
📌 Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
📌 Handle high-volume, time-sensitive accounting operations
📌 Support automation and process improvement initiatives

Requirements:
🎯 7+ years of experience in accounting (Accounts Receivable preferred)
🎯 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or CA (semi-qualified)
🎯 Experience with Oracle, Blackline, or similar reconciliation tools
🎯 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
🎯 Ability to manage complex accounting issues efficiently
🎯 Experience working with global teams and stakeholders
🎯 Willingness to work in US shift and weekends if required
🎯 Excellent communication and coordination skills
