About the Role:
As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be the backbone of financial process optimization at Gainwell.
You’ll manage AP workflows, oversee Concur T&E system usage, analyze data, and ensure compliance—all while supporting strategic finance projects and remote collaboration with global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
📌 Manage, audit, and optimize AP processes for timely and accurate vendor payments
📌 Oversee Concur Travel & Expense system, train users, and ensure policy compliance
📌 Develop and analyze financial models, dashboards, and reports for AP and T&E
📌 Support month-end and quarter-end closing, ensuring accurate book-keeping and reporting
📌 Implement process improvements and automation using BI tools and Excel
📌 Collaborate cross-functionally to drive solutions for cost savings and vendor negotiations
📌 Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve payment issues
📌 Present actionable insights and reports to senior management and stakeholders
Requirements:
🎯 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
🎯 3+ years of hands-on AP and Concur management experience
🎯 Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems (S4 Hana, Concur)
🎯 Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking abilities
🎯 Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and automation
🎯 Ability to work independently, remotely, and handle late evening hours for US team coordination
🎯 Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
