About the Role:
Maruti Suzuki India Limited is seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager /
Deputy Manager to oversee our CSR Infra Projects across India. In this role, you will be
responsible for the effective management of CSR centers and the successful delivery of
infrastructure projects under our CSR initiatives. You will work closely with state
government agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are executed
efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
→ Project Lifecycle Oversight:
o Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery,
adherence to budget, and quality standards.
→ Project Planning:
o Develop detailed project plans, including Bill of Quantities (BOQ),
specifications, and timelines.
→ Vendor Negotiation:
o Engage in negotiations with vendors to secure the best terms and
resources.
→ Procurement Management:
o Oversee the procurement process to ensure timely acquisition of quality
resources in alignment with project needs.
→ Project Implementation:
o Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
→ Progress Monitoring:
o Utilize project management tools (e.g., schedules, Gantt charts) to track
milestones and deliverables.
→ Risk and Issue Management:
o Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks, and resolve issues promptly.
→ Stakeholder Management:
o Manage relationships with vendors and government agencies, escalating
issues as needed.
→ Documentation:
o Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including
reports and legal paperwork (e.g., contracts, terms of agreement).
Requirements:
→ Project Management Expertise:
o Demonstrable ability to oversee infrastructure projects and manage all
project phases from initiation to closure.
o Experience in vendor negotiations, procurement processes, and quality
control.
o Adept at identifying and mitigating project risks.
→ Technical/Functional Requirements:
o Strong skills in project planning, scheduling, and using project management
tools.
o Ability to manage relationships with vendors and government stakeholders
effectively.
