About the Role:
🏗 As an Application Architect (Java / AWS), you will define and own scalable, enterprise-grade architecture for Java-based, cloud-native applications on AWS.You will lead microservices and API design, guide engineering teams technically, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security across critical financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 🧱 Architecture & Design: Define, document, and maintain scalable architectures using Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate) and AWS; lead microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven/cloud-native solution design, ensuring architectural integrity across projects.
  • 🧑‍🏫 Technical Leadership: Guide development teams on coding, testing, deployment best practices; conduct architecture reviews and code audits; mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
  • ☁ Cloud Strategy & Implementation: Design and implement solutions using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, etc.; optimize infrastructure for performance, cost, and security; ensure compliance with governance and security standards.
  • 🤝 Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, BAs, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions; clearly communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

  • 🎓 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • ☕ 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate and related frameworks).
  • 🌩 5+ years architecting solutions on AWS with strong understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
  • 🔄 Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • 🧠 Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with ability to influence and lead engineering teams.
