About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Application Engineer – II to join our team in Bangalore. As
part of our Engineering team, you will play a key role in driving our production support
activities, working on core systems, troubleshooting issues, performing root cause
analysis, and providing effective solutions to keep operations running smoothly. You will
work collaboratively across teams (e.g., Business, PM, and Dev) and have the opportunity
to mentor others.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and recover from end-to-end problems spanning multiple systems and teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and actively participate in knowledge-sharing activities
  like buddy programs, interviews, and debriefs.
• Develop tools and code that follow industry best practices and coding standards.
• Actively participate in operational issues, providing swift resolutions and
  contributing to reducing on-call loads.
• Take ownership of the production support processes, including adherence to SLAs
  and troubleshooting root cause analysis.
• Design, develop, and support sprint tasks, ensuring timely updates and clear
  communication with stakeholders.
• Proactively work on recurring issues to reduce operational overhead,
  implementing long-term solutions such as automation and code fixes.
  Skills Required:
• Java Programming expertise for developing robust and scalable applications.
• Strong experience with MySQL and Linux for production environments.
• Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving production issues.
• Strong root cause analysis capabilities to prevent recurring issues.
  Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge of Problem-Solving Tools.
• Python and Bash scripting for automation and efficiency.
• Experience with coding, problem-solving, and programming practices.
• Strong understanding of performance, scalability, and tech stacks.

  Qualifications:
• A B. Tech/BE or equivalent degree.
• Experience with production support and working with large-scale systems.
• Expertise in Java programming and a solid understanding of databases and Linux
  environments.
