About the Role:
Fortrea is seeking a creative and motivated Apprentice – Website Designer to join its Marketing and Digital Team in Bangalore.
This role focuses on web design and website management in Drupal CMS.
You’ll work on web design, visual assets, and SEO updates while gaining hands-on experience with real-world digital marketing and brand execution projects.
Key Responsibilities:
📌 Create digital assets for web such as banners, hero images, promotional visuals, and landing pages
📌 Help in improving website UI components including layout, spacing, and alignment
📌 Manage and update website content in Drupal CMS (blogs, case studies, events, etc.)
📌 Add metadata, alt-text, OG tags, and internal links as part of SEO optimization
📌 Implement SEO recommendations (title tags, meta descriptions, header tags)
📌 Test web pages for design, functionality, and responsiveness across browsers and devices
📌 Ensure content accuracy and adherence to brand and accessibility standards
📌 Support the digital and marketing teams with creative executions and content planning
Requirements:
🎯 0–1 year of experience in Drupal or WordPress (Drupal 9 or 10 preferred)
🎯 Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles
🎯 Familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD for web design
🎯 Strong eye for design detail, typography, and layout consistency
🎯 Proactive, quick learner with a passion for digital design and content optimization
🎯 Strong communication and time management skills with a positive attitude
