About the Role:
🛠 As an Associate Analyst – Tooling Standards & Support (Tooling Long-Term Planning), you will support strategic tooling allocation for maintenance stations based on maintenance missions and fleet departure schedules.You will collaborate with forecasting and tooling planning teams to translate aircraft system-level requirements into station-level allocations and support funding proposals, performance tracking, and continuous improvement of tooling plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- 📊 Review and validate system-level tooling requirements from the Forecasting group and provide feedback to refine forecasting models.
- 🤖 Consolidate and develop station-level tooling allocation recommendations using AI and advanced forecasting techniques, working closely with Tooling Planners on long-term allocations and short-term procurement guidance.
- 📈 Track and report metrics that support decision-making on quality and timeliness of allocations (e.g., tooling out-of-service events, missed allocation opportunities).
- 🔁 Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance forecast and plan performance; assist in preparing funding proposals and monitoring tooling forecasts and allocation-plan performance.
Requirements:
- 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 💻 Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Foundry, PowerBI, Spotfire or similar), SQL, and advanced Excel.
- 📉 0–1 year of experience in supply chain and/or data analytics, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to collect, organize, analyze, and present large data sets with high accuracy.
- 🔍 Understanding of forecasting concepts, data structures, relationships, and efficient data transformations, plus knowledge of data visualization best practices.
- 🌐 Legally authorized to work in India without sponsorship; fluent in English (written and spoken); reliable, punctual attendance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 🎓 Master’s degree.
- 🐍 Knowledge of Python or another programming language; demonstrated use of AI and learning algorithms is a plus.
