Assistant-GL:

This role, part of the GDS India Finance Team, reports to the Assistant Manager –
Finance, playing a critical role in accounting & controlling activities for select Entities.

The Opportunity:

Overseeing month-end close, accruals, audits, intercompany reconciliations,
schedules, and related reporting for India entities. Work closely with Finance and
accounting teams (India and Overseas), providing accurate and timely information for
month-end close. Responsible for liaising and driving the month-end closure by
interacting with various stakeholders (India and Overseas).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in month-end/year-end close
  • Coordinate with other Finance stakeholders to ensure adherence to month-end schedules
  • Assist in variance analysis calculations for monthly closure
  • Passing journal entries in SAP system with necessary approval mechanism

Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • B. Com/M. Com with 1-2 years of experience
  • Expertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and handling large datasets and tasks
  • Positive attitude and dependable team player
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
