About the Role:
📊 As an Associate in General Ledger Accounting, you will handle daily, weekly, and monthly accounting activities including journal entries, month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and compliance tasks.You’ll collaborate with global teams across EU/US time zones, supporting HARMAN’s automotive and lifestyle businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 📝 Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, provisions, reserves, recharges, and reclasses.
  • 🔄 Reconcile key GL accounts, maintain SAP master data, and resolve balance sheet open items.
  • 📋 Conduct periodic control document reviews and ensure zero compliance deficiencies.
  • 🤝 Work with global teams and provide backup support as assigned by line manager.
  • 📈 Support month-end closing processes and follow up on aging analysis/action plans.

Requirements:

  • 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (Master’s or higher accounting qualification preferred).
  • 💼 4–6 years GL accounting experience in India with strong US GAAP and IFRS knowledge.
  • 🛠️ Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PPT, Word) and SAP experience is a plus.
  • 💬 Clear English communication (written/verbal) and ability to work EU/US time zones.
  • 🚀 Enthusiastic self-starter, quick learner with strong interpersonal skills.
