About the Role:
As the Associate Manager, Sales Development – APAC at Vimeo, you will lead a team of
Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) responsible for converting inbound leads into
qualified opportunities and outbound prospecting for new and expansion opportunities.
This role is critical for driving Vimeo’s pipeline in the APAC region and requires a data-driven
leader who can foster a high-performance culture, improve conversion rates, and drive
predictable pipeline growth.
You will manage the day-to-day operations of the APAC SDR team while also contributing
directly to the pipeline through strategic prospecting. This includes setting and achieving
ambitious team goals, ensuring an exceptional experience for prospective customers, and
working collaboratively with Marketing and Sales Operations to maintain clean data and
streamlined processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
→ Lead the SDR team to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual performance
targets.
→ Establish clear performance metrics (activity levels, response rates, lead-to-close
conversion rates) and hold the team accountable.
→ Provide hands-on coaching and development through call shadowing, role-playing,
and one-on-one feedback sessions.
Pipeline Management & Strategy:
→ Actively manage and grow the leads pipeline, contributing personally to strategic
prospecting initiatives.
→ Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans to maximize revenue
generation.
→ Monitor and analyze team performance, identifying blockers and refining
workflows to boost conversion rates.
Collaboration & Process Improvement:
→ Partner closely with Marketing to align on campaign goals and ensure lead quality.
→ Collaborate with Sales Operations to maintain accurate data in Salesforce and
forecast potential pipeline gaps.
Customer Engagement:
→ Ensure a seamless customer experience by coordinating with internal teams,
including Sales Engineering and Customer Success.
Reporting:
→ Report on pipeline metrics and team performance, providing actionable insights to
leadership.
Who You Are:
- You have 3+ years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or demand
development roles. - You possess a proven ability to drive conversion rates through process optimization
and effective collaboration. - You have strong leadership skills with experience in hiring, onboarding, and scaling
sales teams. - You are highly analytical, with a track record of making data-driven decisions to
optimize workflows and team performance. - You possess excellent communication skills and are proficient with CRM systems
like Salesforce, as well as sales engagement tools such as Outreach, SalesLoft, or
Gong. - You are results-oriented, self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment.
