About the Role:
You will join Q2’s test engineering team to develop and execute comprehensive test plans for online banking software across web, mobile, and voice platforms.
Your focus will be on automation, scripting, and quality assurance in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, supporting product quality from day one.
The role requires working evening shifts from 3 PM to 12 AM IST.
Key Responsibilities:
📌 Design, document, and execute test plans
📌 Develop automated test scripts primarily in JavaScript or similar languages
📌 Collaborate in product design discussions to advocate for quality
📌 Ensure adherence to security, privacy, availability, and confidentiality policies
📌 Use version control (Git/Subversion) and defect tracking tools for test management
Requirements:
🎯 Bachelor’s degree in software-related field with 0–2 years of relevant experience
🎯 Strong knowledge of JavaScript scripting, closures, namespacing, debugging techniques
🎯 Experience testing both front-end and back-end web applications
🎯 Understanding of RESTful APIs, TCP/IP communications
🎯 Familiarity with SaaS platforms highly desirable
🎯 Excellent English communication and collaboration skills
