About the Role:
Tiruvalla Medical Mission Hospital is seeking a Biomedical Incharge to lead its
biomedical engineering team, ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of all
medical devices across the facility. This is a critical leadership position within our clinical
support services.

Key Responsibilities:
→ Preventive Maintenance: Oversee and conduct routine calibration, safety
checks, and preventive maintenance on all biomedical equipment (ICU
ventilators, anesthesia machines, ECG monitors, defibrillators, dialysis
machines, ultrasound, X-ray, MRI, etc.).
→ Corrective Maintenance: Diagnose and repair equipment faults promptly to
minimize clinical downtime.
→ Compliance & Documentation: Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service
records, and ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards.
→ Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of biomedical technicians,
coordinating training and workflow.
→ Procurement & Lifecycle Management: Coordinate with vendors for equipment
procurement, warranty claims, and manage asset lifecycle from installation to
decommissioning.
→ Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clinical departments to prioritize
equipment uptime and support critical patient care needs.

Requirements:
→ Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering.
→ Minimum 7 years of biomedical engineering experience in a hospital or healthcare
setting.
→ In-depth knowledge of medical device technology, maintenance best practices,
and safety protocols.
→ Proven leadership and team-management skills.
→ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to
detail.
→ Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary
teams.
