Job Purpose:

As a Branch Credit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team, coordinating
with the sales team, and achieving business targets. You will be in direct contact with
consumers to establish their creditworthiness, ensuring completion of credit or know
your customer (KYC) documents, and verifications through various means. The
execution of these tasks must be both sales-supportive and risk-averse.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite secured and unsecured proposals for loan customers as per policies and
    procedures.
  • Conduct personal discussions with customers to establish creditworthiness.
  • Ensure completion of credit or KYC documents and verifications (telephonic, field,
    collateral visits).
  • Coordinate with sales to achieve targets and meet service level agreements.
  • Ensure adherence to credit policies and standards.
  • Control and contain front-end delinquencies through proactive measures.
  • Manage and supervise a team of credit underwriters, providing guidelines.

Education Qualification:

  • Graduation: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Technology, Maths, Commerce, Arts, Science,
    Biology, Business, Computers, Management.

Experience:

2 to 5 years of experience in credit.
