About the Role:
💳 As a Business Analyst – Cards, you will work within the ISG group as a domain expert in cards and payments, bridging business, product, and engineering teams.
You will interpret complex acquiring, issuer, and gateway specifications, define requirements for card authorisation, settlement, 3DS, fraud checks, and account funding flows, and support delivery teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• 🧩 Execute problem definition, requirements engineering, risk escalation, solution design, and coordination of communication across stakeholders.
• 📊 Plan and track estimates and progress for your work and relevant team tasks; provide regular status and risk updates.
• 🤝 Collaborate with solution designers and business/technology stakeholders, managing effective stakeholder relationships.
• 🧭 Support delivery teams with complex issues and clarifications, taking personal responsibility to answer questions that arise.
• ✔ Ensure that all deliverables meet agreed content, suitability, and quality standards.
• 🕵️‍♂️ Perform structured problem solving and investigation across card and payment process flows.

Requirements:

• 💳 Strong knowledge of the payments domain, with deep understanding of acquiring, card scheme/card issuer, and gateway domains, including authorisation, settlement, 3DS, fraud checking, and account funding flows.
• 🔌 Expert understanding of modern API development and documentation (RESTful APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI).
• 📚 Proven ability to consume large technical specifications and distil key points to drive engineering and product changes.
• 📐 Experience in designing and implementing Business Analysis artefacts and analysing/modelling business processes (e.g., process flows, use cases, user stories).
• 🧱 Demonstrated experience specifying and shaping new software features and working closely with software development teams in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).
• 💬 Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business and technology teams.
