Job Overview:
WalkingTree Technologies is looking for Business Development Executives to join their
dynamic team. The ideal candidate will help generate business from potential customers,
establish strategic partnerships, and drive profitability and sales growth. This role
involves selling IT services for end-to-end project delivery, with a focus on Data Analytics,
AI/ML, DevOps, and Cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Lead Generation: Identify and generate leads for IT services across
    various sectors, including Data Analytics, AI/ML, and DevOps.
  • Client Engagement: Work on all phases of the sales cycle, including client
    presentations, discussions, negotiations, and deal closures.
  • Proposal Creation: Develop and present business proposals and presentations to
    prospective clients.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential prospects and
    lead generation opportunities, particularly in the international market.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with decision-making
    teams within prospective client organizations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to align on business development
    strategies and achieve sales growth.
    Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (CS), MBA (IT) preferred.
  • Experience: 0-1 year of experience in business development or inside sales,
    preferably in an IT company.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT services such as Data Analytics, AI/ML,
    DevOps, and Cloud.
  • Sales Skills: Strong understanding of sales processes, negotiations, and client
    relationship management.
  • Communication: Excellent writing and verbal communication skills for proposal
    creation and client interaction.
  • Market Research: Ability to conduct effective market research and identify sales
    leads from the international market.
  • Experience in IT Industry: Must have experience working with an IT company
    similar to WalkingTree Technologies. Experience selling product engineering
    services in the US region is a plus.
