About the Role:
As a Business Development Manager at MakeMyTrip’s Alternate Accommodation
vertical, you will drive growth by onboarding and managing high‑quality villa, apartment,
and premium vacation rental partners. You’ll own end‑to‑end account management,
partner engagement, and revenue performance in the Jaipur region, collaborating across
teams to deliver exceptional travel experiences and build long‑term relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
→ Relationship & Account Management:
o Identify, onboard, and nurture partnerships with villa, apartment,
homestay, and vacation rental providers.
o Manage serviced partner portfolios, ensuring targets for inventory,
revenue, and profitability are met.
→ Portfolio Growth & Strategy:
o Develop regional business plans to drive net revenue growth and maintain
competitive pricing.
o Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive benchmarks
to refine product and pricing strategies.
→ Data Analysis & Reporting:
o Create and maintain MIS dashboards and market intelligence reports.
o Analyze partner production data, generate actionable insights, and present
performance reviews.
→ Negotiation & Deal Closure:
o Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal closures with
partner properties.
o Strategize marketing and promotional plans to enhance partner
performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
→ Experience: 2 – 6 years in B2B sales, key account management, or business
development—preferably in travel, hospitality, or a digital marketplace.
→ Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Travel &
Tourism, or related discipline (or equivalent).
→ Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable with CRM
and extranet platforms.
→ Soft Skills:
o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
o Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
o Self‑starter with a bias for action and a collaborative work style.
