About the Role:

As a Canteen Incharge at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, you will be responsible for
overseeing all aspects of canteen operations at the Kharkhoda Plant. Your role is
critical in ensuring that food services run smoothly across all shifts and that the facility
meets high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and service quality.
You will manage manpower, coordinate with vendors, handle budgeting, and ensure
adherence to service level agreements (SLA) while addressing customer feedback and
resolving complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation:
o Ensure timely preparation of food across all shifts.
Manpower Management:
o Analyze and manage manpower for food preparation.
Complaint/Feedback Resolution:
o Address and resolve complaints or feedback from canteen users
promptly.
SLA Adherence:
o Ensure that service provider contracts are adhered to as per SLA
standards.
Equipment Maintenance:
o Ensure that all canteen equipment is functioning properly.
Menu Management:
o Collaborate with the CFT and vendors to manage and update the menu.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
o Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the canteen area.
Budgeting & Costing:
o Prepare budgets, manage costs, and ensure timely invoice clearing.
Quality Assurance:
o Certify the quantity of food provided by vendors to maintain quality
standards.

Requirements:

Experience:
o A minimum of 10 years of experience in canteen management,
preferably in a unionised organization.
Education:
o A degree or diploma in Hotel Management with specialization.
Technical Skills:
o Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Behavioural Skills:
o Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle situations
round the clock.
o Flexible, proactive, and always available by phone for urgent issues.
