About the Role:
As a Cloud Automation Engineer 3 at Adobe, you will design and build automation for
cloud-based deployments, partnering across engineering, DevOps, and customer-facing
teams to create scalable “command and control” tools and environments. You’ll
innovate on deployment solutions, improve continuous integration pipelines, and
implement standards for coding, configuration management, and monitoring across
Adobe’s cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
→ Solution Innovation: Evaluate business needs, prototype improvements, and
implement automation to streamline cloud deployments.
→ CI/CD Enhancement: Improve and maintain continuous integration workflows
for deployment tools and Adobe products.
→ Integration Design: Define and build integrations with sales, support, operations,
and monitoring systems.
→ Standards & Automation: Establish and enforce coding, configuration
management, and automation standards across AWS, Azure, and on-premises
environments.
→ Performance Analysis: Conduct technical audits, measure performance gains,
and apply findings to customer environments.
→ Collaboration & Leadership: Lead design sessions, mentor peers, perform code
reviews, and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced team.
Requirements:
→ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
→ Experience: 6–8 years of software development or DevOps engineering, with
deep expertise in Java/J2EE.
→ Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in Java; experience automating tasks with
Python or similar scripting languages.
→ Cloud Technologies: Strong understanding of AWS and/or Azure services,
infrastructure as code, and automation frameworks.
→ Systems & Tools: Familiarity with Linux/Windows operations, RESTful APIs,
CDNs, and monitoring/logging tools (e.g., New Relic, Nagios, Splunk).
→ Methodologies: Solid grasp of agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration
management.
→ Soft Skills: Excellent analytical thinking, motivation, flexibility, and the ability to
influence and collaborate in a global team.
