About the job:

As a Cloud Engineer at Fastly, you’ll be the go-to architect for our customers, representing
their needs within our organization. Your role involves developing technical relationships,
implementing Fastly products, and continuously improving customer solutions. If you

Job Responsibilities:

→ Develop deep technical relationships with customers to understand their
infrastructure and address their challenges.
→ Implement Fastly products post-sales, ensuring seamless integration and
documenting configurations for troubleshooting.
→ Investigate and propose enhancements to customer implementations,
recommending additional Fastly solutions where applicable.
→ Collaborate with internal teams to devise customer strategies and provide support
as needed.
→ Conduct regular on-site and virtual meetings with customers, including Quarterly
Business Reviews, to track account health.

What You Bring to The Role:

Minimum Requirements:

→ 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Web Development, or similar roles.
→ Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols, Linux, and scripting languages
like Python.
→ Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
→ Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical
concepts to diverse audiences.
→ Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings

Preferred Requirements:

→ Familiarity with Varnish or Varnish Configuration Language.
→ Experience in CDN or cloud computing industries.
→ Background in streaming video/audio technologies or e-commerce solutions.

Work Hours:

This position requires availability during core business hours.

Work Location & Travel Requirements:

Fastly offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between office and remote work.
Preferred office locations include San Francisco, CA, Denver, CO, and New York, NY.
