Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Lead with experience in cloud infrastructure and
VMware-based technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
supporting and maintaining NSX-T infrastructure on Cloud, ensuring the performance,
security, and reliability of cloud-based network and security services.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of NSX-T Infrastructure: Serve as the primary owner for supporting
    NSX-T infrastructure on both physical and virtual networks, including security
    services.
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Take ownership of technical issues, analyse
    dependencies, troubleshoot, test, and resolve issues. Create Root Cause Analyses
    (RCAs) where necessary.
  • Proactive Alerts and Scripts: Develop scripts for proactive alert creation and work
    on methods to avoid issues.
  • Support and Alignment: Align with business objectives and provide effective
    support to customer issues.
  • Documentation: Produce quality documentation, including use cases, business,
    and technical solutions aligned with evolving technologies.
  • Operational Tasks: Perform day-to-day operational tasks, monitor alerts from
    tools, and take appropriate actions to resolve issues.
  • Vendor Liaison: Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution and
    escalations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records/logs of events and maintenance
    activities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand issues
    and provide appropriate resolutions.
    Job Profile:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Support: Minimum 8 years of experience supporting
    infrastructure technologies with a focus on cloud (preferably VMware-based
    cloud).
  • VMware NSX-T: Deep experience with VMware NSX-T.
  • Linux & Windows Servers: Strong experience with Linux and Windows Server
    administration, including commands and troubleshooting.
  • SAN Storage & Virtualization: Hands-on experience with SAN Storage Integration,
    virtualization, and backup technologies (e.g., Avamar, Tivoli, or equivalent).
  • High Availability Infrastructure: Expertise in creating high-availability
    infrastructure for applications and databases.
  • Monitoring Systems: Experience with monitoring systems such as Nagios, Zenoss,
    SolarWinds, vROPS.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities to
    resolve infrastructure-related issues efficiently.
    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
    related field.
  • Strong technical proficiency in cloud infrastructure, with specific expertise in
    VMware technologies and NSX-T.
  • Proven ability to manage cloud network and security services effectively.
  • Hands-on experience in infrastructure management and troubleshooting,
    especially in a cloud-based environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud tools, monitoring systems, and high availability strategies.
  • Certifications related to VMware or Cloud Infrastructure are a plus.
