About the Job:
As a CPU CAD Methodology Engineer II at Google, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and
implementing the next generation of CPUs. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams
to develop efficient design flows and tools, ensuring high performance and low power
consumption. Your work will contribute to shaping the cutting-edge technology that
powers Google’s services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or
a related field. - 4 years of experience in developing high-performance, low-power design methodology
or CAD flows. - Proficiency in writing production scripts for implementation and sign-off tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in evaluating and selecting vendor solutions.
- Familiarity with advanced technology nodes and computer architecture.
- Ability to deliver metric-driven PPA flow development and support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop industry-leading high-performance and low-power design flows for advanced
CPUs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop efficient flows, tools, and features.
- Conduct technical evaluations of vendors, process nodes, and IP, providing
recommendations.
