About the Job:
As a CPU Design Manager, you’ll lead a team shaping the heart of Google’s computing
infrastructure. From concept to production, you’ll oversee the design and development of
next-generation CPUs, collaborating with experts across architecture, software, and
verification. Your work will influence millions of users worldwide.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 20 years of experience in logic/RTL design.
- Expertise in modern processor microarchitecture and RTL design.
- Familiarity with high-frequency CPU design, low-power implementations, and ARM
Instruction Set Architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience leading a team in modern processor front-end design, particularly for ARMbased processors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a team in Bangalore focused on CPU IP Design and Integration.
- Drive CPU front-end design, emphasizing microarchitecture and RTL.
- Collaborate with Architects and Performance teams to enhance CPU performance.
- Ensure designs meet PPA goals and quality standards.
- Work with cross-functional teams to verify and optimize designs.
