About the Role:
As a Customer Relations Coordinator – Billing at Apollo Hospitals in Bangalore, you will
manage the end‑to‑end billing process for patient care services. You’ll ensure accurate
charge capture, generate invoices, liaise with insurance providers, and resolve billing
discrepancies to support the hospital’s financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
→ Invoice Generation & Verification: Prepare and validate patient invoices,
ensuring correct rates and service codes.
→ Claim Submission & Follow‑Up: Submit claims to insurance companies and
follow up to secure timely reimbursements.
→ Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing errors or disputes,
coordinating with clinical and administrative teams.
→ Revenue Reconciliation: Reconcile daily billing reports and ensure alignment
with the hospital’s revenue cycle.
→ Compliance & Reporting: Adhere to billing regulations and internal protocols;
prepare regular billing performance reports.
→ Customer Support: Address patient billing inquiries and explain charges in a
clear, professional manner.
Requirements:
→ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
→ 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in medical or hospital billing, accounts
receivable, or revenue cycle management.
→ Strong knowledge of billing software and hospital information systems.
→ Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
→ Effective communication skills to interact with patients, insurers, and internal
stakeholders.
→ Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
