About the Role:
📊 As a Data Analyst (Finance), you will deep dive into complex financial problems, own end-to-end data pipelines, and model financial data to support reconciliations, reporting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.You’ll work closely with finance and product stakeholders to turn complex accounting concepts into scalable data models and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 🔍 Investigate complex financial issues to uncover root causes, trends, and actionable insights.
  • 🔄 Own ETL workflows from raw data extraction to robust, scalable, and well-documented pipelines.
  • 📈 Model financial data to support reconciliations, journal flows, reporting, and forecasting needs.

Requirements:

  • 🧮 5+ years in analytical/data-focused roles within accounting, finance, or financial data environments.
  • 📚 Strong grounding in accounting concepts (P&L, balance sheets, reconciliations, journal entries, transaction-level modelling).
  • 🛠️ Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines on cloud platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake) with modern stack tools (dbt, Airflow, Git).
  • 💾 Advanced SQL proficiency and ability to translate financial/accounting logic into data models and insights.
  • ⭐ Nice to have: Advanced STEM degree and prior experience in a global finance function.
