About the Role:
📊 As a Data Analyst in BCG X’s A&A team, you will collaborate with consulting teams on advanced analytics projects, providing subject matter expertise and execution support.You’ll gather requirements, design/develop analytic solutions, deliver insights, and build high-quality models using Python, SQL, ML techniques, and cloud platforms for client impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 🤝 Work with case/proposal teams, define analytics outcomes/approaches, and own analytics modules with original analysis and insights.
  • 📈 Communicate findings through sophisticated synthesis (PowerPoint, dashboards, charts) and establish credibility as thought partner with consulting teams.
  • 🛠️ Lead workstreams independently, guide juniors, contribute to IP/content development, and support business development activities.
  • 📚 Build collateral, conduct technical trainings, and maintain repositories of best practices/methodologies.

Requirements:

  • 🧮 Strong statistics proficiency (hypothesis testing, sampling) and hands-on predictive modeling (regression, clustering, classification, time series).
  • 💻 Expertise in Python/SQL (must-have), data visualization (Tableau/Power BI), cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), ML deployment (Airflow/MLflow), and big data tools (Spark/Hadoop).
  • 📊 Experience delivering business value in analytics solutions (price optimization, CLM, personalization, etc.) in industries like Retail/CPG/Healthcare.
  • 💬 Excellent communication to explain complex insights concisely to consultants and stakeholders.
