About the Role:
As a Data Engineer within IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers, you will develop, maintain, and optimize reporting and data solutions for diverse clients globally.
Your responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, developing impactful Tableau visualizations, writing complex SQL queries, and troubleshooting data issues to ensure quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
📌 Analyze, gather requirements, and customize reports based on client needs
📌 Build strong relationships with business and technical teams
📌 Maintain and improve data environments, focusing on performance and availability
📌 Perform root cause analysis and debug reporting issues
📌 Assist in defining technical specifications and developing data solutions
📌 Manage source code, content, and troubleshoot data control problems
Requirements:
🎯 Proficient in Tableau Desktop and SQL, including advanced queries and joins
🎯 Experience with Python, Snowflake, ETL processes, and statistics is a plus
🎯 Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
