About the Role:
As a Data Engineer at Baker Hughes, you will work with large and complex data sets to support our business and technology teams.
You’ll join a team of experts—including SQL/ETL engineers, visualization specialists, and product managers—to build smart data solutions, ensure data quality, and support better business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
📌 Load, transform, and process data using SQL and ETL tools
📌 Integrate multiple data sources and formats into master data sets
📌 Build and optimize data models for business analytics and reporting
📌 Collaborate with teams using Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, SAP, Oracle, and Databricks
📌 Write and maintain scripts in SQL and Python
📌 Support product roadmaps with quality data engineering and analytics
📌 Communicate clearly with stakeholders and project partners
📌 Identify opportunities for data process improvement and innovation
Requirements:
🎯 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
🎯 2–4 years working in data engineering, analytics, or a related role
🎯 Strong coding skills with SQL and ETL tools
🎯 Experience with big data platforms and databases (Databricks, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
🎯 Familiar with data modeling, data integration, and business intelligence tools
🎯 Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
🎯 Team player with attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies
