Job Purpose:

The Debt Manager-Recoveries is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing
departmental activities. This role includes managing agencies associated with the
company in the assigned territory, optimizing EMI retrieval from customers, and
ensuring adherence to all guidelines laid out by the bank.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage collections process for assigned debts.
  • Track portfolio for specific buckets in the assigned area.
  • Control delinquency, focus on non-starters, and track DPD (Days Past Due).
  • Allocate and achieve targets from agencies/in-house team.
  • Follow up with default customers regularly.
  • Ensure adherence to collection process and legal guidelines.
  • Trace absconded default customers and initiate recovery process.
  • Recommend legal actions for non-recoverable cases.
  • Maintain data for administrative work related to collection, update delinquent
    account history, and provide MIS reports.

Education Qualification:

  • Graduation: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Technology, Maths, Commerce, Arts, Science,
    Biology, Business, Computers, Management.
  • Post-graduation: MBA (Master of Business Administration)

Experience:

2 to 5 years of experience.
