Your Role and Responsibilities:

This role involves providing technical support for IBM Business Automation, focusing
on problem determination and resolution. Collaborate with development and support
organizations, recommending and implementing improvements to support tools and
processes.
As part of the worldwide remote technical support team, contribute to the seamless
24×7 “follow-the-sun” support for IBM’s customers, working with CloudPak,
Workflow, and Decisions software.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support with strong problem determination skills.
  • Collaborate with support organizations to prioritize and diagnose problems.
  • Communicate action plans to customers or IBM representatives.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to technical support tools and processes.
  • Provide training and mentorship to others on the team.
  • Contribute to organizational objectives and high customer satisfaction.
  • Document problem solutions within the company knowledge base.
  • Manage request priorities on a daily basis.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support with strong problem determination skills.
  • Communicate action plans to customers or IBM representatives.
  • Work closely with clients, expediting problem resolution during product
    implementation.
  • Review diagnostic information to isolate problem causes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the products supported.
  • Provide seamless problem resolution in collaboration with other support teams.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to technical support tools and processes.
  • Contribute to organizational objectives and high customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Basic knowledge in Operating system administration (Windows, Linux).
  • Basic knowledge in database administration (DB2, Oracle, MS SQL).
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Positive customer service attitude with sensitivity to client satisfaction.
  • Self-starter, quick learner, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Basic knowledge of process/data mining.
  • Basic knowledge of LDAP.
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of IBM’s Digital Business Automation Product Family.
  • Knowledge of Apache Flink, Kafka, Elastic Search, and Kibana.
  • Knowledge of Containerization and Kubernetes.
  • Scripting skills (Python, JavaScript).
  • Additional language proficiency.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Technical Support.
